Germany, a key market for heat pump manufacturer Nibe, recorded a roughly 10 percent decrease in the number of applications for heat pump subsidies in June compared to May. However, the figures still represent an increase of about 50 percent compared to the same period last year.

This is according to fresh statistics from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

The number of applications for heat pump subsidies during the period reached 18,571, compared to 12,506 during the corresponding period in 2024. So far this year, the total number of applications stands at 124,596. In May, the figure was 20,603.
