Nestle again trimmed its expectations for sales growth in 2024 after shoppers spent less on its products over the first nine months of the year.

At 67.15 billion Swiss francs ($$77.59 billion), reported sales were 2.4% lower than in the same period last year, the Swiss food-and-beverage giant said Thursday. That was broadly in line with the expectations of analysts, according to a consensus of estimates provided by the company.
