Nesco Limited received order from Office of the Asst. Commissioner of State tax (GST), Gujarat. The above GST authority has passed an order dated 29 August 2024 for payment of GST of INR 2.650 million, Interest at INR 2.344 million and penalty of INR 0.265 million aggregating to INR 5.259 million under applicable provisions of the CGST/IGST Act, 2017.

The Company has till date not received the detailed copy of the order from the said GST Authority. The order came to attention only on 3 September 2024 while browsing through the GST portal. The said order mentions that the company has availed excess input tax credit on its inward supplies for the financial year 2019-2020.
