The investment company JAB Holding has announced an agreement with Mondelez International to buy 86 million JDE Peet's (Jacobs Douwe Egberts) shares, at a price of 25.10 euros per share, for a total of around 2.16 billion euros.

In addition, it distributed 43 million JDE Peet's shares, representing 9% of the latter's capital, to over 70 external investor partners within JAB Consumer Partners, thereby significantly increasing the free float to 32%.

We remain fully committed to being a reference shareholder for the world's leading coffee and tea company", explains JAB, which will thus have increased its stake in this Dutch group to 68%.
