Metorex Limited is a mid-tier mining company. As of December 31, 2010, the Company was focused on the base metals industry, primarily, copper and cobalt production in the central African Copperbelt. During the year December 31, 2010, the Company's copper production totaled 76,409 tons and cobalt production totaled 5,123 tons. On September 6, 2010, the Company announced the re-capitalization and disposal of its Consolidated Murchison (CM) division. Pursuant to the disposal, the Company is re-positioned as a copper/cobalt mining company with producing and development assets in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia. On September 22, 2011, the Company disposed Sable Zinc Kabwe Limited.
