Mastek announced that it has been awarded a contract by NHS England to provide NHS board and Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) cybersecurity training in partnership with Templar Executives. This training is aimed at NHS Boards and executives to help enhance their understanding of the cyber landscape and build resilience across the healthcare system. The one-year contract, with the option to extend for an additional year, will see Mastek and its partner Templar Executives, deliver tailored cybersecurity training specifically designed for NHS executive Boards and SIROs.

The training will focus on equipping these critical leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage cyber risks, ensure compliance with legislation, and foster a culture of cyber resilience within their organizations. As part of the contract, Mastek and Templar Executives will provide two key training services: SIRO Training: This programme is aimed at the crucial roles of SIRO and Deputy SIRO within NHS organizations. It will help these leaders and their teams gain essential knowledge to improve cyber resilience and support positive clinical, financial, and patient-centred outcomes.

Board Training: Targeted at NHS executive Boards, this training will ensure Board members fully understand their responsibilities in governance, leadership, and compliance with relevant cybersecurity legislation.
