Indian Bank announced that appointed Shri Venkatachalam Anand as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Indian Bank with effect from April 1, 2025. The current CVO Shri Vishesh Kumar Srivastava is transferred to Bank of Baroda as CVO. Shri Venkatachalam Anand, has joined the Bank as CVO with effect from April 1, 2025.
Accordingly, Shri Vishesh Kumar Srivastava, ceased to be CVO of the Bank with effect from April 1, 2025. Shri V. Anand joined as CVO in Indian Bank on 01.04.2025. Shri V. Anand joined as CVO in UCO Bank on January 15, 2024 .
He continues to hold additional charge as CVO, UCO Bank. He joined the service of Bank of India (BOI) on June 5, 2000 as Senior Manager (Law) after serving as Manager and Assistant Manager in other Public Sector Banks. As AGM, he has worked in Retail Business Centre, Patna and Asset Recovery Branch, New Delhi.
He has also worked as Zonal Manager, Kerala for two years. He was promoted to the rank of General Manager in BOI in the year 2020 and was In-Charge of SARD, Law Department and Recovery Department. He has vast experience in banking sector over past three decades.
