HSBC Holdings PLC - London-based bank - HSBC Chair Mark Tucker intends to retire from his role as chair before the end of 2025. He has served as chair since October 2017. The company has started the process to find a new chair. Senior Independent Director Ann Godbehere says: "The board is conducting a thorough process to identify the best candidate to lead the board, and support group Chief Executive Officer Georges Elhedery, and the wider management team, through the next period of development and growth for the bank. I am delighted that Mark will remain as a strategic adviser to the group CEO and the board whilst the succession process for a permanent chair continues."
