General Insurance Corporation of India announced that The Ministry of Finance vide Letter eF. No. A-15011/05/2021-Ins.1 dated 2nd September 2022 conveyed that the Central Government had appointed Ms. A. Manimekhalai, MD & CEO, Union Bank of India as Director on the Board of the Corporation for a period of three years, or till date of her tenure as MD & CEO, Union Bank of India, or till date of her superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earliest.
Ms. A. Manimekhalai, has completed her tenure as MD & CEO of Union Bank of India on June 2, 2025 and consequently ceased to be the Director of the Bank with effect from June 3, 2025. Accordingly, Ms. A. Manimekhalai ceased to be Director on the Board of the Corporation with effect from June 3, 2025.
