Fortis Healthcare Limited announced that the following roles have been designated as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) with effect from June 11, 2024. Dr. Ritu Garg as Chief Growth & Innovation Officer and Mr. Bidesh Chaundra Paul as Group Head Supply Chain Management. Dr. Ritu Garg is the Chief Growth & Innovation Officer at Fortis Healthcare Ltd. Dr. Ritu has over 18 years of work experience in Healthcare Industry.

She joined Fortis in February 2016. Dr. Ritu is an MS (ENT) from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi and an MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and has previously worked with Sakra World Hospital and Amrop India. Mr. Bidesh Chandra Paul- Group Head Supply Chain Management, has been designated as Senior Management Personnel.

Bidesh Chandra Paul is the Group Head Supply Chain Management at Fortis Healthcare Ltd. Bidesh has over 18 years of work experience in Manufacturing, R&D, Healthcare Operations & Supply Chain Management. He joined Fortis in August 2019. Bidesh has done his Dual Degree of B.Tech & M.Tech from IIT, Kharagpur and PGDM from IIM, Bangalore.

He has more than 18 years of work experience in Manufacturing, R&D, Healthcare Operations & Supply Chain Management.

Its segment includes the Healthcare business and the Diagnostics business. The healthcare business includes inpatient and outpatient services, sale of medical and nonmedical items and management fees from hospitals. The diagnostic business includes pathology and radiology services. Its specialties include cardiac sciences, cosmetology, dental sciences, dermatology, general surgery, oncology, urology, neurosurgery, radiology, orthopedics, and organ transplant, among others. The healthcare verticals of the Company primarily consist of day care specialty, diagnostics and tertiary and quaternary care. The Company has approximately 28 healthcare facilities, including projects under development, 4500 operational beds and over 400 diagnostics centers. It operates in India, the United Arab Emirates, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
