Finolex Cables Limited informed that the Board had appointed Ms. Anita Utamsingh (DIN- 01680585) as Additional Director in the category of Non- Executive Non- Independent Director of the Company with effect from 12th September, 2024 subject to the approval of the Shareholders to be obtained at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company or within a time period of three months from the date of appointment, whichever is earlier. However, pursuant to Section 160(1) of the Companies Act, 2013, the Company did not receive a notice in writing from a member proposing her candidature for the office of a Director at the Annual General meeting held on 28th September 2024 due to which Ms. Anita Utamsingh ceased to be the Additional Director in the category of Non- Executive Non- Independent Director of the Company with effect from 28th September, 2024.
