ExxonMobil reports second-quarter 2024 earnings of $9.2 billion, or $2.14 per share versus EPS of $2.06 in the previous quarter, and 'the second-highest earnings for this time of year in the last decade'.

We achieved record quarterly production from our low-cost supply assets in the Permian and Guyana, with the highest oil production since the merger of Exxon and Mobil", says Chairman and CEO Darren Woods.

With cash flow from operating activities of $10.6 billion and operating cash flow excluding working capital movements of $15.2 billion, the energy group distributed $9.5 billion in dividends and share buybacks to its shareholders.
