Digi International Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has nominated Ms. Sally Smith, the retiring President and Chief Executive Officer of Buffalo Wild Wings, and Mr. Chris Heim, Chief Executive Officer of HelpSystems, to stand for election as directors during its 2018 annual meeting of stockholders to be held on January 29, 2018. Ms. Smith and Mr. Heim have been nominated to fill the vacancies that will arise when Mr. Girish Rishi and Mr. William Priesmeyer complete their terms at the annual meeting. Mr. Rishi and Mr. Priesmeyer are retiring from the Board and will not be standing for re-election at the annual meeting. The Board also appointed Dr. Khanuja to serve as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, commencing when Mr. Priesmeyer's term with the Board ends in January.
