Digi International announced that its Board of Directors has nominated Mr. Hatem Naguib, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Barracuda Inc.'s security business unit, to stand for election as director during its 2019 annual meeting of stockholders to be held on February 4, 2019. Mr. Naguib has been nominated to fill the vacancy that will arise when Mr. Ahmed Nawaz completes his term at the annual meeting. Mr. Nawaz is retiring from the board and will not be standing for re-election at the annual meeting. Since May 2016, Hatem Naguib has served as SVP and GM of the security business unit for Barracuda Inc. Prior to his work with Barracuda, he spent nearly 10 years at cloud computing and platform virtualization giant VMware; his roles included Vice President of Networking and Security, Vice President of Worldwide Cisco, EMC and VCE Alliances, and Senior Director of Worldwide HP Alliances.
