Balkrishna Paper Mills Limited announced that at its board meeting held on November 13, 2024, approved discontinuation of manufacturing of Paper and Paper Board at existing plant at Ambivali. Reason for discontinuance: over the years the company has been incurring heavy losses on account of high cost of production, lower productivity, lower volume of business and high fixed cost etc.
