Archer-Daniels-Midland Company is one of the world's leading transformers of agricultural products into food ingredients, fuels, and industrial products. Net sales break down by activity as follows: - agricultural services (78.3%): manufacturing and sale of oilseed-based products, raw materials trading, transportation, storage, etc.; - manufacturing and sale of cereal grain-based products (13.8%): flours, starches, glucose, acidulants, sweeteners, dextrose, amino acids, etc.; - manufacturing of flavors and ingredients (7.5%); - other (0.4%). Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (42.6%), Switzerland (21.5%), Cayman Islands (5.8%), Brazil (3.9%), Mexico (3.7%), Canada (2.2%), the United Kingdom (2.2%) and other (18.1%).
