Its manufacturing plant is located in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India. Its manufacturing plant has an installed capacity of approximately 140 tons per day of sulfuric acid (including downstream products). Its subsidiary is Amal Specialty Chemicals Limited. Its product Sulphur dioxide is a chemical used as a disinfectant in breweries and food factories and to bleach textile fibers. The product is also used as a solvent to preserve food and vegetables. Sulphur trioxide is a product used as a sulfonating agent in chemical reactions.
