Altria Group, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2024. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 4,418 million compared to USD 4,482 million a year ago. Net income was USD 3,803 million compared to USD 2,117 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.21 compared to USD 1.19 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 10,853 million compared to USD 11,157 million a year ago. Net income was USD 5,932 million compared to USD 3,904 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.41 compared to USD 2.18 a year ago.
