Registrations of heavy-duty trucks over 16 tons in the EU fell by 9.5% to 205,451 vehicles in the first nine months of this year. The year before, the level was 227 029 vehicles.

This is according to recent figures from the industry association ACEA.

Among the major markets, Germany was down 12.3% while France fell 3.5%.

In 2023, registrations rose by 14.7% to 266,879 vehicles. The year before, in 2022, registrations rose by 6.5% to 256 020 vehicles.
