Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves says the "number one commitment" of the Labour government is "economic and fiscal stability." She made the comments in an interview with Bloomberg's Lizzy Burden after the budget statement she delivered yesterday triggered a selloff in gilts. "We have more headroom than the previous government left us, and that is important," Reeves added.
