More than 74 million passengers traveled through the Vinci Airports network in the first quarter of 2026, representing a 1.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

"Although the conflict in the Middle East and tensions between China and Japan have affected certain airports on a localized basis, their impact on the overall momentum of the Vinci Airports network remained limited," the group stated.

In Latin America, the network's airports once again delivered an excellent performance.

In the Cape Verde archipelago, Vinci Airports network facilities recorded a 17% increase in traffic.

In Europe, several airports in the network continued their growth trajectory. In Portugal, Lisbon airport benefited from the surge in long-haul flights operated by TAP to Brazil and the United States.

At London Gatwick, the reorganization of the medium-haul offering and cancellations linked to the Middle East conflict tempered the strong performance of easyJet and British Airways during the first quarter, while in France, domestic traffic, sustainably penalized by tax hikes, weighed on the performance of regional hubs.
