Viasat Inc. approved the appointment of Camellia E. FitzGerald, the Company's current Vice President Corporate Accounting and Finance, as the Company's Chief Accounting Officer and principal accounting officer, effective January 2, 2026. Ms. FitzGerald, age 48, has served as Vice President Corporate Accounting and Finance at the Company since 2014. Previously, she worked as Senior Director Finance and Accounting at Samsung Electronics America from 2009 to 2014, and as Assistant Controller at CryoCor, Inc. from 2005 to 2008.
She also served as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2001 to 2005. Ms. FitzGerald is a Certified Public Accountant in California and earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from San Diego State University. As previously disclosed by the Company, Shawn Duffy, the Company?s current Chief Accounting Officer and principal accounting officer, will cease to serve in such roles on December 31, 2025, upon the expiration of the term of her previously filed severance agreement with the Company.
Commencing January 1, 2026, Ms. Duffy will continue supporting the Company in a non-executive role as a Special Projects Advisor.
