Finnish engineering giant Valmet is set to deliver its DNAe distributed control system to gas boiler 1K6 at Lenzing's facility in Austria, according to a press release.

The solution replaces a legacy third-party system and is designed to provide enhanced cybersecurity, operational reliability, and long-term availability. The delivery also includes DNAe Historian and will be integrated with the company's existing Valmet systems.

The order was booked during the second quarter of this year, with the handover to the customer scheduled for the first quarter of next year.
