Finnish engineering giant Valmet is investing approximately 2 million euros, equivalent to 214 million Swedish kronor, in its production unit in Järvenpää, Tampere. This was announced in a press release.

The investment concerns the installation of a new electric boiler with a capacity of three megawatts, which will be integrated into the facility's heat production. The aim is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency.

The new facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2026.
