Finnish engineering giant Valmet is launching change negotiations in Finland on May 4, according to a press release.

The negotiations cover 2,400 employees and could lead to temporary layoffs of less than 90 days between June and December 2026. The measures are expected to generate cost savings of approximately 8 million euros in 2026.
