Union Bank of India announced resignation of CA Avinash Vasant Prabhu as the CFO for personal reasons (to be relieved on January 31, 2026) and appointment of CA Dhirendra Jain as the new CFO. Commencement of Date of Appointment/Date of Joining is February 01, 2026. CA Dhirendra Jain, aged 51 years, is a Chartered Accountant and a seasoned Finance Professional with more than 28 years of experience.
He is currently working as the General Manager Finance and Accounts and has rich banking experience of Credit Large Corporate, as a Regional Head as well as Zonal Head of the Bank. He is also a Post Graduate in Commerce and Certified Associate from Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
