UltraTech Cement Ltd. has announced the appointment of Jayant Dua as Managing Director, following approval from the company's Board of Directors at its meeting held on March 6, 2026. Dua will assume the role of Managing Director effective April 1, 2026, and will be part of the company's Senior Management Personnel from the same date. A seasoned professional with 37 years of experience, Dua joined the Aditya Birla Group in 1996 in its Cement business.
During his early years with the group, he spent nearly a decade across various functional and business leadership roles. Over the past two decades, he has held multiple P&L and CEO responsibilities, contributing to the growth of businesses across sectors including Insulators, Insurance, Century Cement, and Chlor-Alkali. The outgoing Managing Director is K. C. Jhanwar, whose term concludes on December 31, 2026.
