The Adani Group's (Adani Enterprises Limited (BSE:512599)) defence and aerospace arm is reportedly in advanced discussions to buy out Flight Simulation Technique Centre (FSTC) (Flight Simulation Technique Centre Pvt. Ltd.). According to a Times of India report, If finalised, the deal would further strengthen the conglomerate's acquisition-led expansion strategy.

The acquisition plan is expected to be executed through Horizon Aero Solutions - a 50:50 joint venture between Adani Defence Systems and Technologies (ADST) and Prime Aero. ADST is fully owned by Adani Enterprises, while Prime Aero is promoted by Prajay Patel, son of NCP leader Praful Patel. The proposed FSTC acquisition comes amid a sharp rise in demand for trained cockpit crew, driven by higher defence requirements, geopolitical uncertainties, and growing commercial aviation traffic.
