Telecommunications operator Tele2 is partnering with European cloud provider Scaleway to launch a sovereign cloud and AI offering in Sweden. The solution combines Scaleway's public cloud with Tele2's private cloud services in a hybrid model targeting the enterprise market.

Tele2 reports that it has already secured its first customer, a major player in the energy sector with stringent digital sovereignty requirements. Scaleway is part of the Iliad Group and provides a fully EU-based cloud platform.
