Among the blue-chip stocks in the OMXS30 index, Boliden rose 2.4 percent while Atlas Copco A gained 2.1 percent. Tele2 B saw the weakest performance, dropping 0.5 percent, while Telia eased 0.2 percent.
Investment firm Kinnevik has appointed Helena Saxon as its new CEO, effective August 1. She succeeds acting CEO Rubin Ritter. Helena Saxon served as CFO at Investor between 2015 and 2024 and also sits on the boards of H&M and Novo Nordisk. The stock rose 1.8 percent.
At the market open, telecom equipment provider Ericsson announced it is moving its Stockholm headquarters from Kista to Hagastaden. The company has signed major agreements with Atrium Ljungberg and Castellum. Ericsson climbed 0.5 percent, Atrium Ljungberg rose 4.4 percent, and Castellum gained 1.8 percent. Meanwhile, Corem fell nearly 9 percent, as the company currently leases space to Ericsson in Kista.
Eisai, the partner of research firm BioArctic, presented a simulation of potential future sales for the Alzheimer's drug Leqembi during its capital markets day. According to the simulation, sales are expected to reach approximately JPY 300 billion, equivalent to about SEK 17.6 billion, during the 2028/2029 fiscal year ending in March 2029. BioArctic's shares are climbing 1.3 percent.
Medical technology company Episurf Medical saw its operating loss widen to SEK -24.9 million in the first quarter, despite an increase in revenue. The result was weighed down by transaction costs related to an acquisition and negative results from medical operations. Episurf surged 14.5 percent.

Industrial supplier Nolato has appointed Anders Björklund as its new President and CEO. He succeeds Christer Wahlquist, who will step down in conjunction with the interim report on July 17. Nolato gained 1 percent.
Several companies are trading ex-dividend today, including communication app Truecaller (SEK 0.28) and facility management firm Coor (SEK 1.50). Truecaller rose 0.1 percent, while Coor fell 2.3 percent.
Among today's analyst recommendations, SB1 Markets upgraded Hexagon to buy from neutral, maintaining a price target of SEK 100. The stock rose 1.7 percent.
