Private equity firm Triton is reportedly nearing a deal to acquire the German drive technology specialist Flender. Triton is in talks with the current owner, Carlyle, regarding a transaction that would value the company at approximately three billion euros, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the matter. An agreement could be announced as early as this week. Representatives for Triton, Carlyle, and Flender declined to comment to Bloomberg. Carlyle acquired Flender from Siemens in 2021 for over two billion euros, as the Munich-based technology group divested several non-core businesses.
