Post Holdings Inc. named a new chief executive for its biggest unit. The company hired Greg Pearson as president and CEO of its Post Consumer Brands unit, effective April 1, 2026. He'll succeed Nicolas Catoggio, who became Post Holdings' executive vice president and COO in January.
Post Consumer Brands is Post Holdings' North American ready-to-eat cereals, Peter Pan nut butters and pet food business. Its dog and cat food brands Rachael Ray Nutrish, Nature's Recipe, 9Lives, Kibbles 'n Bits and Gravy Train, as well as a private label pet food business, is part of Post Consumer Brands. Pearson brings 25 years of consumer packaged goods experience to his new role at Post, officials said.
He previously was CEO of Compana Pet Brands, a Chesterfield-based global pet care and nutrition business, since January 2023. Prior to Compana, he had been COO of Pretzels Inc., a private label and contract manufacturer of pretzels. There he led initiatives that resulted in the company's successful sale to The Hershey Co.
in 2021. Pearson also previously oversaw brand marketing, creative services, private brands and e-commerce product management for online pet retailer Chewy.com and led part of Conagra Brands' private brands division. Early in his carer, he held several cereal and baked goods brand marketing roles with General Mills.
Pearson will be based at Post Consumer Brands' headquarters in Lakeville, Minnesota.
