PAL Holdings, Inc. announced the acceptance of the resignation of Mr. Katsuya Goto as Director of PAL Holdings, Inc., following an organizational change at ANA Holdings Inc, effective April 1, 2026. PAL Holdings, Inc. also announced the election of Mr. Tadashi Matsushita as Director, effective April 1, 2026 to fill the vacancy arising from the resignation of Mr. Katsuya Goto. The date of appointment is March 30, 2026.
The changes were approved at the Meeting of the Board of Directors held on March 30, 2026. Tadashi Matsushita serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Vice President for Alliances & International Affairs at ANA. In this role, he oversees the company's global alliance strategy, including ANA's participation in Star Alliance, joint ventures with United Airlines, Lufthansa, and Singapore Airlines, as well as a broad portfolio of bilateral airline partnerships.
He also leads ANA's international affairs, managing aviation policy and government relations worldwide. Matsushita has held a series of senior leadership positions throughout his career at ANA. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of ANA Group Corporate Strategy Airline Management and Okinawa Region at ANA Holdings, where he led airline portfolio optimization, managed domestic and international partnerships, and oversaw regulatory, policy, and decarbonization initiatives, as well as stakeholder engagement in Okinawa.
Earlier roles include Vice President of Alliances & International Affairs, Vice President of Strategic Planning, The Americas, and Director of International Government Affairs. He also contributed to ANA's expansion in Asia and the launch of Peach Aviation, Japan's first low-cost carrier. Matsushita holds a B.A. in Economics from Kobe University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
He resides in Tokyo with his family.
