OR Royalties Inc. announced the appointment of Mr. Patrick Godin as an Independent Director to its Board of Directors (the ?Board?).Mr. Godin has over 35 years of corporate, technical, and operations experience in the mining industry. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of New Gold Inc. (?New Gold?), where he held the leadership role from November 2022 up until New Gold?s USD 7.0 billion acquisition by Coeur Mining Inc., which was announced in November 2025. Before joining New Gold, Mr. Godin was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pretivm Resources Inc., where he was responsible for the operations of the Brucejack Mine.
Previously, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Stornoway Diamond Corporation, having also served as its Chief Operating Officer and Vice President from 2010 to 2018. During his time at Stornoway, he was responsible for the construction and operations of the Renard Diamond Mine in Québec. Earlier in his career, he served as the Vice President, Project Development for G Mining Services and held executive or senior operations positions for Canadian Royalties, IAMGOLD, and Cambior in the Americas.
Mr. Godin holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining from Laval University in Québec, Canada, and has been a Chartered Director since 2010.
