Construction company Nyab has signed a railway contract in the Mälardalen region valued at SEK 380 million, described as a comprehensive undertaking.
In collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), Nyab will modernize the railway by replacing tracks on the stretches between Tillberga-Kolbäck and Valskog-Frövi.
The works are scheduled for completion by September 2026 and will cover approximately 62 kilometers of railway, including track replacement, ballast cleaning, installation of new level crossing components, and other safety-enhancing measures.
