Novartis AG is one of the world's leaders in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of pharmaceutical products. Net sales break down by therapeutic area as follows: - oncology (29.3%); - immunology (18.5%); - cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases (17%); - neuroscience (9.4%). The remaining net sales (25.8%) are from contract manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. At the end of 2024, Novartis AG had over 30 production sites worldwide.
