Mondel?z Global voluntarily recalled certain Chips Ahoy! Baked Bites Brookie products due to corn starch clumps that could constitute a choking hazard, but said there were no reports of injury or illness.

The issue resulted from an incorrect mixing process, the company said. "Due to the characteristics and size of the small starch clumps, the clump could constitute a choking hazard, particularly in special risk groups, such as young children and the elderly," the company said.

Two stock keeping units were recalled, Mondel?z said.

One product has retail UPC number 44000086688 and case UPC number 1 00 44000 08667 8. The other item has retail UPC number 440000856500 and case UPC number 1 00 44000 08565 7.

In 2019, Mondel?z announced a limited voluntary recall of certain Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies due to the potential for an unexpected solidified ingredient.
