Mondel?z Global voluntarily recalled certain Chips Ahoy! Baked Bites Brookie products due to corn starch clumps that could constitute a choking hazard, but said there were no reports of injury or illness.
The issue resulted from an incorrect mixing process, the company said. "Due to the characteristics and size of the small starch clumps, the clump could constitute a choking hazard, particularly in special risk groups, such as young children and the elderly," the company said.
Two stock keeping units were recalled, Mondel?z said.

At the end of 2024, the group had 147 manufacturing sites worldwide.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (26%), North America (4%), Europe (36.5%), Asia/Pacific/Middle East/Africa (20%) and Latin America (13.5%).
