Finnish cartonboard manufacturer Metsä Board has finalized its acquisition of the Winschoten Sheeting and Distribution Hub in the Netherlands, according to a press release. The transaction was initially announced on January 23.

The acquired facility is one of the largest of its kind in Europe, with an annual capacity of approximately 100,000 tons and a staff of 22 employees. The takeover is expected to strengthen Metsä Board's capacity and flexibility in the European market. The seller is Konvertia.
