Producers of metals, grains and other raw materials fell as a precious-metals rally cooled.

Gold and silver futures have seen a wild run in early 2026, surging to all-time highs before incurring significant corrections.

OceanaGold plans to leverage the jump in the price of gold to ramp up exploration for the precious metal and boost shareholder returns this year, the Canadian miner said ahead of its planned U.S. stock listing in April.
