A prominent figure in the European technology ecosystem, entrepreneur, investor, and leading innovation advocate, Philippe Dewost brings over 30 years of experience in venture capital, corporate transformation, public innovation, and deep tech to the firm.
Throughout his career, he has held several executive positions at VINCI, Caisse des Dépôts, and EPITA. He also played a pivotal role in the rise of the French innovation ecosystem as a key contributor to the creation of La French Tech.
Currently Chairman of Phileos, Philippe Dewost previously led imsense, an advanced imaging specialist acquired by Apple. He was also a co-founder of Wanadoo, which subsequently became one of Europe's leading internet service providers.
In his new role, Philippe Dewost will contribute to Jolt Capital's investment activities and work alongside portfolio companies on their growth strategies, innovation projects, and ecosystem development.
Philippe Dewost is a member of the Corps des Mines. He is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, where he earned a Master's degree in Physics, and holds an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs.
