Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited informed that the board of directors in its meeting held on November 17, 2025 approved the promotion of Shri A. Chandrashekar, Additional General Manager (Projects) and Head of Internal Audit, to General Manager (Projects) and he shall continue to be Head of Internal Audit of the Company (SMP).He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmani University, Hyderabad, and a postgraduate degree (M.Tech) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. He has more than 34 years of experience. The company also promoted Shri K P Philip, Additional General Manager (Projects) to General Manager (Projects) and appointed as a Senior Management Personnel of the Company.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from North Eastern Hill University, Arunachal Pradesh. He has more than 31 years of experience. Shri Sanjay Kumar, Deputy General Manager (IT) & CISO, has been promoted to Additional General Manager (IT).
He shall continue to be Chief Information Security Officer of the Company (SMP). He holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from Delhi University and a postgraduate degree in Finance from GNIM, AICTE. He has over 18 years of experience in the risk management field.
