June 1 (Reuters) - Indian real estate firm Anant Raj said on Monday it will invest 250 billion rupees ($2.6 billion) to develop data centre and cloud services in India's northern state of Haryana.

o The New Delhi-based firm entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre, an agency under the state government

o Anant Raj said the MoU aims to support investment in and development of data center and cloud services in Haryana

o India's data centre market, valued at $5.55 billion in 2025, is projected to reach $13.11 billion by 2034, according to consulting firm IMARC Group

o The company will expand its digital infrastructure business operations in the state, while the Haryana government will facilitate ease of doing business

o The partnership is part of the state government's "Make in Haryana Policy" aimed at boosting development

o In May, Anant Raj said it was considering the demerger of its data centre services from its real estate business
