Finnish engineering group Kalmar has indicated that demand remains stable despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The company shared these insights during an investor meeting, according to research firm Inderes.
"The company noted that the demand environment has thus far remained unchanged relative to the outlook provided in the Q4 report, notwithstanding the instability caused by the situation in the Middle East. Various market estimates have also remained largely steady. However, according to the company, should the situation persist, cost inflation could negatively impact the global economy and customer activity," Inderes wrote, reiterating its "Add" recommendation for the engineering firm.
Kalmar is scheduled to publish its Q1 report on May 5.
