Iberdrola has celebrated a new edition of its Shareholders' Days in Madrid, a series of in-person meetings across different cities in Spain ahead of the General Shareholders' Meeting scheduled for 29 May. Following the success of previous years, the company has tripled the number of cities where these events are taking place to strengthen its commitment to shareholder engagement and to fostering a relationship of proximity and active listening with them.

The Shareholders' Days have been held so far in Valencia, Zaragoza, Pamplona, and San Sebastián. After its stop in Madrid, the event will continue on 26 May in Bilbao. Based on past experiences, Iberdrola expects to gather over 2,000 shareholders in total.

As part of the celebration of Iberdrola's 125th anniversary, the company presented to shareholders the key factors that have established Iberdrola as a global benchmark, detailing the profound transformation carried out in the last 25 years, the main aspects of its Strategic Plan until 2028, and the solid performance registered in 2025, when the company reached a record profit of more than €6.2 billion. Several company executives participated in the event, including Ignacio Cuenca, Director of Investor Relations; Roberto Fernández Albendea, Director of Corporate Sustainability; Mario Ruiz-Tagle, CEO of Iberdrola Spain; Asís Canales, Global Director of Resources and Services; and Rafael Orbegozo, Advisor to the Presidency.

The Shareholders' Days have become a space for direct dialogue between the company and its shareholders, where they can learn firsthand about the milestones marking Iberdrola's evolution, interact with the management team, and, at the same time, participate in the General Shareholders' Meeting and receive the traditional commemorative gift.

125 Years of Light Exhibition

Event attendees were also able to view for the first time the '125 Years of Light' exhibition, which the company has launched for its 125th anniversary. This exhibition showcases the evolution of Iberdrola and its innovative spirit through a series of photographs and videos, as well as its link to society.

The exhibit features photographs from the company's early years, with historical images and the creation of Hidroeléctrica Ibérica at the beginning of the 20th century. It includes iconic buildings, early electrical installations, and original documents reflecting the birth of the business project. The exhibition also displays scenes of the industrial development associated with electricity supply, as well as the group's evolution through more recent milestones.

Closer connection with shareholders and more incentives for participation

The General Shareholders' Meeting will take place with both physical and remote attendance options. The company has made it easier for shareholders to participate remotely before the meeting through the corporate website, shareholder hotline, instant messaging, email, and postal voting. A significant advantage is that the voting delegation cards consolidate all the shareholder's actions, regardless of where they are deposited, simplifying and facilitating participation while offering greater security, including a QR code and access key.

Iberdrola thus reinforces the model of an open, accessible, and sustainable General Shareholders' Meeting that the company has been developing for years. This model also includes permanent communication channels with shareholders and investors, such as the Shareholder Office, the Investor Relations Office, and the Shareholder Virtual Assistant.

As part of the General Shareholders' Meeting agenda, and in line with its commitment to shareholder remuneration, the Board of Directors proposes a supplementary dividend of €0.427 per share, which adds to the €0.253 per share already paid on 2 February as an interim dividend. Thus, Iberdrola will allocate €4.5 billion to dividends corresponding to the 2025 fiscal year.

Additionally, Iberdrola proposes distributing a participation dividend of €1 gross for every 200 shares, provided that the General Shareholders' Meeting achieves a quorum of 70% of the share capital.
