Humana Inc. announced it has hired Bobby Mukundan as senior vice president and chief technology officer, a newly elevated leadership role focused on advancing Humana's enterprise technology strategy and execution. Mukundan joins Humana from Accenture, where he most recently served as managing director and technology account leader for a global financial services client, overseeing a broad portfolio spanning data and AI, cloud infrastructure, security and product engineering. According to his LinkedIn page, Mukundan brings decades of experience across both health care and financial services, including prior leadership roles at CVS Health, JPMorgan Chase & Co.
and Citi. At CVS Health, he served as senior vice president and chief information officer of enterprise technology services, overseeing infrastructure engineering and operations, hybrid cloud platforms, security products, DevSecOps systems and enterprise integration services. Before that, he spent four years at JPMorgan Chase as managing director and global CTO within the company's technology infrastructure organization, where he led initiatives including cloud platform development, global data center strategy and large-scale engineering operations.
Mukundan also spent more than a decade at Citi, where he held multiple CTO roles within its global consumer banking business.
