HMG Future Complex Co., Ltd. announced that it will raise approximately KRW 8,000,000 million in a round of funding on April 24, 2026. The transaction included participation from new investors Hyundai Motor Company will invest KRW 2,888,600 million for 36.1% stake, Kia Corporation will invest KRW 2,363,500 million for 29.5% stake, Hyundai Mobis Co.,Ltd will invest KRW 1,098,800 million for 13.7% stake, Hyundai Steel Company will invest KRW 516,400 million for 6.5% stake, Hyundai Rotem Company will invest KRW 460,800 million for 5.8% stake and Hyundai Glovis Co., Ltd. will invest KRW 672,000 million. The investments are scheduled to be made in annual installments from June 2026 to 2030.
Hyundai Mobis Co.,Ltd will acquire 978,600 common shares, Hyundai Glovis Co., Ltd. will acquire 672,000 common shares and Hyundai Motor Company will acquire 2,572,685 common shares in the transaction.
Hyundai Rotem Co is a Korea-based company manufacturing vehicles. The Company operates through three segments. The Defense Solution segment produces and sells ground weapon systems such as tanks, wheeled armored vehicles, obstacle-clearing tanks, recovery tanks, bridge-laying tanks and performance upgrade solutions, and future unmanned systems–related products such as unmanned vehicles and multi-legged walking robots. The Rail Solution segment sells railway vehicles such as electric multiple units, high-speed trains, light rail vehicles, diesel multiple units, locomotives, passenger cars and freight cars, and electrical components for railway vehicles, such as train control and management systems, traction motors, propulsion control systems and auxiliary power supply systems. The Eco Plant segment provides automobile production infrastructure such as press, body, painting, assembly conveyance systems and steelmaking facilities. In addition, the Company engages in hydrogen business.
