(Alliance News) - Grifal Spa reported a net loss of EUR868,788 for the first half of the year, compared with a profit of EUR211,436 in the same period of 2024.

The value of production rose to EUR22.2 million compared to EUR21.5 million in the first half of 2024, while revenues fell to EUR18.4 million from EUR18.7 million.

EBITDA stood at EUR 1.7 million, down from EUR 2.7 million a year earlier, with a margin of 9.3% compared to 14.5% in the previous period.

The operating loss amounted to EUR 365,193, after depreciation and provisions of EUR 2.1 million, compared to a positive EBIT of EUR 963,038 in the same period of 2024.

The net financial position at June 30 was negative for EUR 23.4 million, compared to EUR 21.1 million at the end of 2024.

Consolidated shareholders' equity fell to EUR17.2 million from EUR18.2 million at December 31, 2024.

Grifal SpA is an Italy-based company active in the protective packaging market.
