Germany, a key market for heat pump manufacturer Nibe, recorded an 8.1 percent decrease in the number of applications for heat pump subsidies in October compared to September. However, the figures also represent a 70 percent increase compared to October of last year.

This information comes from statistics released yesterday by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

The number of applications for heat pump subsidies in October reached 24,763, up from 14,542 during the same period in 2024. In September this year, the figure stood at 26,946.

So far this year, the total number of applications amounts to 219,754.
