Germany, a key market for heat pump manufacturer Nibe, recorded a 50.1 percent increase in applications for heat pump subsidies in December compared to November. The figures also represent a 7.8 percent rise compared to December 2024.
This is according to statistics from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
The number of applications for heat pump subsidies in December amounted to 41,331, compared to 38,342 during the same period in 2024. In November 2025, the figure stood at 27,544.
The total number of applications reached 288,232 in 2025.
